Our community
Celtic Buddhists of Glen Ard is an nonprofit spiritual organization within the Crazy Heart Lineage. Celtic Buddhism arose as a service based Buddhist lineage that came out of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche's Mishap Lineage. Glen Ard Abbey was founded by H.H. Yeshe Seonaidh Perks and Sister Gryphon. As Celtic Buddhists, we are dedicated to deepening our relation with nature, growing within our spiritual practice, and being of service to others. All spiritual seekers are welcome here.
Our Vision
Before H.H. Seonaidh Perks crossed over, he asked Sister Gryphon to create an abbey, called Glen Ard, where people could come both to train as lay students and/or as monastics. Glen Ard is a humble place, still in it's formative stages. located on 40 acres in northern Maine. Our Environmental initiatives
Educational workshops - learning to sustain
Attend workshops on environmental topics, from composting and gardening, and living more sustainably to wilderness skills and oneness with the Earth.
Nature walks & clean-ups - active stewardship
Engage in regular nature walks and clean-up events in northern Maine, fostering a deeper appreciation for creation and active care for our local environment.

Contribute to our initiatives supporting those struggling with substance abuse.
